By July 31: Submit Your Proposal to Present at CDAD and CEDAM’s Virtual Strengthening Resilient Communities Conference
July 31, 2020
The Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD) and the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) are currently seeking innovative and engaging presenters focused on community economic development and financial empowerment to present at their virtual Strengthing Resilient Communities conference.
With eight states participating in the National Forum October 13–23, they’re seeking speakers to present during Michigan’s scheduled programming October 14–16. Attendees will have the option to attend Michigan-only sessions, or opt for an all-access pass and access content provided by other states. That means that as a presenter, you’ll have the opportunity to present to a national audience!
The goal of this event is to inspire and equip practitioners and advocates with the community economic development and financial empowerment strategies needed to recover through the COVID-19 pandemic, advocate for their communities, and build an equitable future for all.
CDAD and CEDAM welcome proposals from regional, statewide, national, and international speakers and presenters who wish to bring their expertise and passion to the conference. CDAD & CEDAM are committed to creating an equitable conference. We welcome and encourage those who live or identify within marginalized communities to submit proposals.
Interested presenters should submit their proposal through this google form by Friday, July 31, 2020: https://tinyurl.com/yywxtb7w
