Updates from the Center of Detroit Arts & Culture at Marygrove
October 5, 2020
From Mary Lou Greene, Interim Director, Arts & Culture at Marygrove:
“Greetings to the Arts & Culture community at Marygrove!
As of September 1st, the Center of Detroit Arts & Culture at Marygrove (also known as CDAC) became fully incorporated into the Marygrove Conservancy as a mainstay program and is hereby introduced as Marygrove Conservancy Department of Arts & Culture. This change means that f.k.a. CDAC’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) will now reside under Marygrove Conservancy online presence. Those previously subscribed to f.k.a. CDAC’s newsletter will have their contact information migrated to Marygrove Conservancy’s database under Marygrove Conservancy Arts & Culture. Subscribers may opt-out from continuing their subscription now under Marygrove Conservancy.
Existing programs like the Contemporary American Authors Lecture Series, Institute of Detroit Studies, and the Institute of Arts Infused Education will remain at the Marygrove Campus. Other wonderful programs you know and love will also continue to be here as well, but logistics will be handled by the respective organizations. You will be able to navigate to each respective programs’ website from the Marygrove Conservancy Department of Arts & Culture’s website and social media platforms.
Furthermore, the Marygrove Conservancy Department of Arts & Culture will continue to provide space to artists and organizations to grow and provide the programming they do best. For more information, please reach out to our program director, Mary Lou Greene at mgreene@marygroveconservancy.org.
Visit them at the new Marygrove Conservancy Department of Arts & Culture website for more information.”
